Cage Rage 28
Cage Rage 28: VIP was a mixed martial arts event held by the Cage Rage Championships on September 20, 2008 at The Troxy in London, England.[1] It was televised on Nuts TV in the United Kingdom, and would be the last event promoted by Cage Rage before the company went bankrupt.
It featured Leigh Remedios' return to the cage for the first time in nearly three years, taking on Robbie Olivier for the Cage Rage British Featherweight title, and the debut of musician Wesley "2Play" Johnson, who would be facing Matt Smith. A number of other fights, including Che Mills vs Ross Pointon and Piotr Kuśmierz vs James Thompson, were also set to be on the card originally but were called off for various reasons.[2]
